Abstract | This traditional Tehri house with distinctive wood carving and stone sculpture, representing the cultural heritage and source of inspiration for all Garwahlis, is the ancestral house of the two Everest martyrs, Jai and Harsh Bahuguna. Nandu Jayal, India�s first mountaineer and first principal of the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute was brought up in this town. This house will face submergence and total destruction. |
