| Abstract | S.Radhakrishnan (Vice-President of India, 1952-1962) met informally at his hotel with a group of university students, several of them natives of India studying there. Seated on floor (L-R) are Bishwa Ranjan Bagchee of Darbhanga, Bihar (resident at Washington University Medical Center) with Nalini Narodi of Bangalore (graduate student in Washington University School of Botany) and Gurpreet Singh of New Delhi (graduate student in Business at Washington University) and K. Alapatt of Travancore (studying government at St. Louis University). From left around couch are Hira Narodi (a ceramics student in New York city visiting her sister Nalini in St. Louis) with S. Radhakrishnan & Sukesi Oak of Bombay Presidency & Aziz Shihab of Jerusalem & Irving Halperin of St. Louis (graduate student in English) |
