Abstract | This File contains two notebooks featuring some essays, and short stories written by Prosenjit Dasgupta. The first notebook contains essays and short stories including ‘Ramna and the Revolution’, ‘The Snake-Charmer’, ‘She’, ‘North Bank’, ‘What a Fal’’ written between 1957 and 1960. The second notebook contains essays and short stories entitled ‘The Third Period’, ‘Glories and Grime’, ‘Of Mind and Men’, ‘The Seed Dormant’, ‘The Slip’, ‘Better Late’, ‘A Book Reread’, ‘The Parting’, ‘To Life, With Love and Squalidity’, ‘An Incidence’. There are also two loose pages containing an untitled essay written in both English and Bengali. |
