Abstract Damodar P. Singhal’s research materials on Britain’s diplomatic policies and imperial interests in Persia, Arabia and Burma. The file contains confidential memoranda and correspondence relating to consular jurisdiction in Persia, Turkish jurisdiction over territory along the Arabian Coast. It also includes details on military operations in Burma, the Treaty of Yandabo signed between Burma and Britian in 1826 and the Treaty of Peace between Persia and Britian signed in 1857.
