Abstract	The file contains typed manuscripts of chapters and handwritten notes of Devahuti’s research work on the history of Turkic tribes and their relationship with settled societies, the spread of Buddhism in Central Asia and China, the Kesar Epic of ancient Central Asia, and the records of Hsüen Tsang’s travels to India. Includes research articles by A.N. Perumal, B.K. Kaul Deambi, S.P. Shukla, Vipula Upadhyay, S.N. Rao, Yashwant Rao and others on the Mauryan empire, Tamil poetry, etymological studies of Indian titles, political histories of various Indian dynasties and writings on coins and inscriptions of Southern India. It also includes research papers presented at the Ninth Annual Congress of the Epigraphical Society of India, Gorakhpur (02-04 March 1983) and An Annotated Bibliography of Inner Asia – premodern by Don Y. Lee, Eastern Press, Bloomington (1983).
