Abstract The file contains writings and press clippings on international relations and comparative politics. Includes K. Santhanam�s reflections on the social, political and economic conditions of countries that he visited, including the Federation of Malaya (reprinted in The Hindu, sent to The Guardian), Hungary, Mauritius and South Africa, and on Indians in East and West Africa. Also contains articles on the US and UK military intervention in the Middle East, Indo-Soviet relations, Britian�s economic challenges, US elections and foreign aid, the need for a World Economic Community, deterioration of the human environment, and the role of students. Also contains Democratic Government: A comparative statement of the political system of U.K, U.S.A & India by K. Santhanam, his speech the �Problems of Co-existence� published in The Light House (September 15, 1970) and a newspaper clipping of his reaction to the Kenyan protests of 1923 (republished on August 26, 1973).
