Devahuti’s writings include poetry and prose on emotions such as love and longing, joy and sadness, relationships between loved ones, the connections between humans and animals, and aging. Some of these works were written for the Hindi Club in London. The collection also features a short story entitled Britain Ki Vridha, along with others exploring the relationship between a husband and wife, and the final words and moments of the painter William Rothenstein. It also includes handwritten excerpts from Raja Rao’s novel The Serpent and the Rope.
